TEAM INFO

Pat Summa and Thrasher Motorsports got it's start back in 1978.  Our first truck was a Ford called Above & Beyond.  "Winning is not everything" but taking first place tow years later at a United States Hot Rod Association event at the Toronto Sky Dome proved sweet for then a rookie in Monster Trucks.

Since that time, Thrasher Motorsports has grown to become a force to be reckoned with defeating some of the top Monster Truck Teams in the country.

Today the team continues to grow.  Thrasher Motorsports now campaigns the Toyota sponsored Thrasher along with Above & Beyond and the Extinguisher Monster Ride Truck. 

Despite the growth and success of Thrasher Motorsports, Pat has never forgotten the people that have helped him get where he is today.  Pat always says he is grateful for the moral support of his family, friends and sponsors.  "There is no way I could have kept doing this without them" says Pat.

DRIVER BIO

Thrasher Motorsports is owned and operated by Pat Summa.  Pat is also the driver of the Thrasher Monster Truck. 

He lives in Danbury, CT with his two kids Bianca and Michael.  His race shop is based in New Milford, CT.  When Pat isn't at the shop or working at his other job, you can usually find him out on the Golf Course.
